Main Window
When using TimeTo™, the main window is always open.
Here is some information about what you'll see in
the Main Window.
Toolbar
If you have the Toolbar
setting checked (in Other
Settings), a toolbar of icons, representing many
of the most commonly used commands, appears across
the top of the main window.
Hover your mouse over an icon to see the name of
the command that clicking that icon will invoke.
If you are in Light Mode, icons for features that
are not available in Light Mode are greyed out.
The icons are, from left to right:
- 7 Days Back: move the current displayed days
7 days toward the past
- Previous Day: move the current displayed days
1 day toward the past
- Today: move the current displayed day to today
- Next Day: move the current displayed days 1

- Zoom In: Click the Zoom In and Zoom Out icons
to temporarily increase or decrease the size of text
and headings on the schedule displays, 1 point a click. To increase
text size by 1 point, click the plus magnifying glass icon. To reduce
text size, click the minus magnifying glass icon. You
can set different text sizes for day views and Month Views. To temporarily
adjust the size of headings in day views, hold the Control key while
clicking on the Zoom In or Zoom Out icon. To temporarily adjust day view
item begin times, 31-Day Navigator and World Clocks, hold down the Shift
key while clicking on the Zoom In or Zoom Out icon. (To permanently change
these sizes (since they are not remembered from session to session) instead change the Size
settings available in the Screen Fonts submenu of Fonts
Settings.) (The
Ctrl and Shift keys do not change the function of the Zoom keys when
used on a Month View.)
- Zoom Out: see Zoom In above
- Send TimeTo To System Tray: Minimize TimeTo to the Windows system tray
World Clocks/Stock
Ticker
The World Clocks/Stock Ticker appears across the
bottom of the main window if you have checked the World
Clocks/Stock Ticker checkbox (in Other
Settings).
Time zone names are governed by Time
Zone Settings (from the Settings menu) and
which ones appear or not across the bottom of the
main window is governed by World
Clocks/Stock Ticker Settings (from the Settings
menu). The time zones appear in the same order
as they appear in Time Zone Settings. If the local
time in a time zone is outside your work hours
(as you have defined in Work
Hour Settings), that time zone's time appears
white on black instead of black on white, thus
helping you anticipate if someone you wish to contact
in that time zone is likely to be at work. If a
stock to track has been designated in those settings,
the name and current price (delayed up to 15 minutes,
requires Internet connection) of that stock appears
in the rightmost position, instead of a clock.
Note: In Windows 95 or Windows 98, if you use the
Windows control panel to change both your computer's
time of day and its time zone while TimeTo™ is running,
TimeTo™ unfortunately continues to show the
world clocks based on the old settings (the
time of day at the top of all views is correct though).
The discrepancy is rectified the next time you restart
TimeTo™.
Calendar Window
To the right of the Main Window, the Calendar Window appears
(unless you have turned it off by choosing the Hide
Calendar command from the View menu, in pro mode).

Window help topic.
