Use the World Clocks/Stock Ticker Settings (from the Settings menu) to designate which time zones and which stock will potentially appear on the World Clocks/Stock Ticker at the bottom of the main window. You can enable as many time zones as you'd like, and one stock. The name and properties of the time zones are set in Time Zone Settings (from the Settings menu). You can also use this settings window to set alarms to be notified when a stock rises or falls to a certain value.
Overview of how to change the appearance of the World Clocks/Stock Ticker in the main window: In order to have the World Clocks/Stock Ticker appear at the bottom of the main window, confirm that the World Clocks/Stock Ticker checkbox is checked in Other Settings. Time zone names are governed by Time Zone Settings (from the Settings menu) and which ones appear or not across the bottom of the main window is governed by these World Clocks/Stock Ticker Settings. If the local time in a time zone is outside workday hours (as you have defined in Work Hour Settings), that time zone will appear white on black instead of black on white, thus helping you anticipate if someone you wish to contact in that time zone is likely to be available. If you have designated a stock to track in the World Clocks/Stock Ticker Settings, the name and current price (delayed up to 20 minutes, requires Internet connection) of that stock appears in the rightmost position, instead of a clock.
The World Clocks/Stock Ticker, TimeTo™ uses the font, style, size, and Script you have chosen in Day Views Text Font (from the Screen Fonts submenu of Fonts Settings).
Tip: If you wish
to display names in a non-"Western" alphabet in the World Clocks,
be sure to choose a Script in the Day View Text Font setting
that supports the characters you wish to display.
Here are the fields available in this window:
Time Zones: Click on a time zone in order to highlight (or unhighlight it). All highlighted time zones will appear across the bottom of the main window. You can highlight as many cities as you wish. Scroll up and down to see the entire list of cities.
Power tip: If you wish to edit all your time zones more quickly, you can use a text editor such as Notepad to directly edit the file TimeZone.lst (which lives in your TimeTo folder) to carefully change the wording in that file (without changing its structure). If you are planning to try this, make a backup of the file first (so you can restore the older version if you accidentally damage the file).and do not have TimeTo running while editing the file.
You can designate one stock to track. It's value will appear continuously in the bottom right corner of the main window (if you have enabled the World Clocks/Stock Ticker in Other Settings).
You can also set TimeTo™ to alarm you with
a dialog box if the stock value rises above or
falls below values you specify.
To temporarily
suppress such alarms, check the Suppress
Alarms checkbox in Alarms Settings.
Stock values are delayed at least 15 minutes, and require an Internet connection to be updated.
Symbol: Specify the stock symbol
to be tracked. For stocks outside the DOW or NASDAQ, follow the symbol with a colon (or dash) followed by two-character stock exchange code from this list (for example, for Rio Tinto on the London Stock Exchange, type UK:RIO as the symbol). You can designate a stock from any of these exchanges:
