David Berman and Scott Sigurdson designed this oversized poster to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC). This poster has been included in the newest GDC publication, Fifty Years of Design in Canada and was recently featured in the Applied Arts’ Photography and Illustration Annual 2006. full-size posterPDF icon(1.06MB)

The Ontario Environmental Farm Plan Workbook, now in its third edition, has won international awards for adult learning. David has led the design and reproduction of the many editions. (Ontario Farm Environmental Coalition, Agriculture Canada)


This workplace poster promoting hiring people with disabilities is a great example of adapting (as opposed to translating) a message, thus reflecting cultural differences as well as language differences. (National Research Council of Canada)



This youth-targetted classroom poster activity for grade 5 students, promoting the T0bacco, Science & You CD-ROM to teachers, is one of many print and multi-channel products we’ve developed for the internationally-leading smoking cessation program. It is designed for wallpapering as much of a classroom or school as required for the number of students involved. (Health Canada)

This special 30th Anniversary Special Report is amongst dozens of bulletins, annual reports, brochures, and mailing that we have designed for Inter Pares since 2001. [more Inter Pares publications] (Inter Pares)

Culture.ca visual identity manual English cover
We developed branding, visual identity and custom typography for Canada’s Culture.ca Web site, whose rules of use are documented in this identity manual which we wrote and produced in English and French editions. (Canadian Department of Canadian Heritage)


This HRCS campaign brochure was part of a cross-channel launch for an intranet site we designed for the online community of human resource professionals across the federal government. We developed a matching booth display as well. (Treasury Board of Canada)
