Labels Settings (pro mode only)

Use Labels Settings (from the Settings menu) to assign custom names, text hues, and background hues for Month Views for each type of label. Items with a particular label can appear in any color you choose. TimeTo ships with suggestions which you can change at any time.

New item automatically have their label set as Label 1 ("normal"). Items with a normal label appear in the hues you define in Color Settings (from the Settings menu), therefore if you wish to change the text hue for a "normal" label, you must go to Color Settings and change the normal default colour for all text. Items with any label other than "normal" have their text colour governed in all views by your Labels Settings (from the Settings menu). (Windows will only use solid colors for text. Therefore, if your selection is not a solid color, the nearest solid color is used. To preview how the text color will appear, look at the colored rectangle titled "Color|Solid." in the Color picker window that appears when you click the Text Color button.)

Background color settings in Labels Settings only affect Month View: When an item with a background color caused by its label appears in a Month View, all items below it in the Month View's day cell will have the same background color until another item appears that asserts a different Label background color.

Label 7 is special: If a date has at least one item that has been labelled with this label scheduled, then the date header (day of week, day of month, year) in day views and the Month View will also appear in the special label color. Month View Note: If an item is marked with the Special Day label (Label 7), (applied by rightclicking the item in any item list) then the effect of that item on the Month View (i.e. that it changes the colour scheme of that day) will always occur, no matter what other restrictions restrict what items appear on the Month View. Otherwise, the same restrictions govern whether the item itself (i.e. its Begin Time and/or Title) appear on the Month View. So, for instance, if you have Label 7 set to a colour scheme of orange on blue, and you have your Month View preferences in Other Settings set to only show underscore items, and you create a non-underscored item on Aug 11, 2008 and apply Label 7 to it... then on the month view, the Aug 11 cell will have its date and day of week in orange, the background of the cell will be blue, but the item will not appear on that date (since it is not underscored).
