Delete Special Day Items

Choose the Delete Special Day Items command (from the Edit menu) to delete all items with titles beginning with "[special day]".

Special day items are items whose titles begin with the phrase "[special day]". Most special day items are recurring items (such as Christmas Day appearing on every December 25), however when special days are not a schedule that can be setup with TimeTo's recurring properties (such as Easter, which is based upon the lunar calendar), then instead separate items are inserted for each year.

Such items typically appear in your schedule because you chose the option to install sample items while installing TimeTo™.

The main idea behind the Delete Special Day Items command is to allow you the add load the suggested special day item as part of the sample items loaded during installation, remove the "[special day]" phrase from those you'd like to keep in your schedule, then choose this command to delete all the ones that still start with "[special day]".

[Existing users unfortunately cannot retroactively load the special day items into their schedules, however if you are eager to view the special days, install TimeTo™ into a separate folder, specifying to include sample items during the installation process, and run that separate TimeTo™ program to experience the special day items. Should you wish to place some of the sample items into your real schedule, you can cut and and paste between the two TimeTo sessions (the sample and your real one) though unfortunately recurring properties will be lost during the paste.]
