Use the Cut command (from the Edit menu, or press Ctrl+X) to delete highlighted text from a text field or the highlighted item from a view.
If you cut text, the cut text is stored in the Windows Clipboard, so you can optionally then use the Paste command (from the Edit menu, or press Ctrl+V) to paste it elsewhere.
You can also use the Cut command to delete the highlighted item from any view. If you do so, the item is deleted (as if you had used the Delete command). If you then paste on a view, a new item is created whose Title is the text you cut (or the title of the item you cut), with all other properties as designated in New Item Preferences.
Tip: If you wish to move many items, or more properties that just the title, from one schedule to another, a better way would be to use an Export command in the source schedule then the Import Items command in the destination schedule.
You can paste the same text or item as many times
as you'd like.
