Choose the Viewed Day Turnover Score command (from the Statistics submenu of the Report menu) to help give insight as to whether you are catching up or falling behind on your long-term list of things to do.
The window shows, the total time spent on all done items in the last 30 days up to and including the viewed date that had been around for at least that many days and compares them to the total duration of undone fluid items that became at least 30 days old in the last 30 days leading up to today. It then repeats these statistics for 7 days instead of 30.
The ratio of these two totals
indicates whether you are catching up or falling behind:
A score of 100%
or more indicates that you are catching up (completing more items than
you are adding).
A score of under 100% indicates that you are falling behind (adding more
items than you are completing).
