Use the Viewed Month's Done Items Log command (from the Reports menu) to view a report of the done items on every day that has no undone items, within a given month. The report is presented in Windows Notepad.
The log for a given month will only exist if there have been items done in that month, and the Monthly Log Files Of Done Items checkbox (in Other Settings) was checked when the last item was marked done on the day in question.
The Done Items Log you will see will be the one for the month that contains the day or month most recently viewed in a Day View or Month View.
Each row shows one item, with these tab-delimited fields:
To search the report by keyword, choose the Find command from the Edit menu.
The Done Items log files are stored in tab-delimited text files with names such as Aug08.log for the August 2008 log file (the file name format may differ depending upon how your date format is set in Regional And Language Options in the Windows Control Panels: for instance, if your system is set to French the filenames will have French short forms instead, in the same folder where your TimeTo schedule file is stored. For more detailed information about Done Items Logs, please read about the Monthly Log Files Of Done Items setting (in Other Settings).
Troubleshooting:
If TimeTo cannot find the log file for a given month that you think should exist, perhaps you changed the format of how months are expressed, in your Regional And Language Options in the Windows Control Panel. If so, use Windows Explorer to manually rename any files to match your current settings.
If a given day's done items do not appear in the report, keep in mind that TimeTo does not put the done items for a given day into the report until there are no undone items left on the day.
