Use the New Appointment Item command (from the Insert menu, or press Ctrl+Insert) to quickly create appointment items. Appointment items are items with a Set Start Date and Begin Time. You can also create appointment items using the New Item command, however the New Appointment Item command biases towards choices appropriate for an appointment.
The fields in the New Appointment Item dialog box all exist in the New Item dialog box, so please refer to the New Item help topic for explanations of them.
