Choose the Hope command (from the Item Properties submenu, or press Ctrl+F2) when you are not sure you will have the time to do something today, but you are still hoping it will happen. The item will still show in its place on the schedule, with its duration to the right of the title, in case you decide you can do it today after all; however it will occupy only zero minutes of time on the schedule, allowing its time to be allocated to other items.
To use the command, highlight an item on any day or multiple day view, then press Ctrl+F2.
The Hope command is a toggle: choose the Hope command again to bring the item back from Hope to being scheduled again like any other item.
The word “hope” will appear where the Begin Time usually appears on day/multiple day views.
