When Lynn Johnston needed her handwriting turned into a font, in order that international editions of her world-beating comic strip For Better Or For Worse could reflect her hand, she turned to David Berman to painstakingly develop a typeface carefully based upon drawings of her lettering.

The typeface included two different drawings of each letter, so that randomization could be woven into any given setting.
